Who is responsible for your information

What this site collects
This site has no accounts, no payments and no advertising trackers. There is a single form, on the Contact page, and it asks for three things: your name, a way to reach you, and your message.
Your browser also sends ordinary technical information to our host, such as your IP address and device type. It is used to display the site and keep it secure.
What it is used for
Only to answer you. Your information is never sold, traded, or used to send you advertising.
Your patient file is not here
The form on this site is not a clinical record. It should not be used to send health information. Your patient file is kept at the clinic, separately, under the rules that govern the profession.
How long we keep it
Messages received through the form are kept for as long as it takes to answer and follow up, then destroyed no later than twelve months after the last exchange.
Who can see it
Dr. Occean and the people who work at the clinic. Two technical providers are involved: Formspree, which delivers the form messages, and Netlify, which hosts the site. Both are located in the United States, so your information leaves Quebec when you use the form.

Booking appointments
Our online schedule is provided by Jane, a booking platform. When you click to see our availability, you leave this site: the information you enter there is governed by Jane's privacy policy.
Cookies
This site places no advertising cookies and does not measure your visit. The only thing kept in your browser is your answer to the banner, so it isn't asked again on every page.
The typeface is served with the site: nothing is requested from an outside server while you visit.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected, or ask for it to be destroyed. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@alexandraocceanchiro.com and we will answer.
If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
If an incident happens
If a confidentiality incident presented a risk of serious harm, the people affected and the Commission d'accès à l'information would be notified, and the incident would be entered in a register.
